As part of our vision and mission for YBE Ghana, we are committed to positively impacting Communities and the Planet as a socially responsible company. In alignment with this commitment, we focus on three pillars for creating shared value – education, water and natural resource conservation.
YBE Ghana in collaboration with Abundant Grace Baptist Church designed and constructed a colorful community library to promote learning amongst children in the community. The community library was constructed from a 40ft shipping container. The project is still ongoing and the library once completed will stock over 100 children’s books.
YBE Ghana partnered with Eblah Foundation and some local NGOs to do a beach clean up exercise along the coast of Accra. Students from the Department of Marine and Fisheries Science – University of Ghana, Legon, also joined the exercise.
The clean up was organized to raid the beaches of Accra from plastic waste, which is slowly becoming a huge waste challenge in the country.
We also organize training workshops for artisans in the construction industry on various skills as a means of empowering them. Participants who excel during our workshops are recruited and employed to join our team
Cut a Tree, Cut a Tree and there’ll be no more left to see. Take care of trees.
Turn off the lights before you perish. Unite and save the earth.
